Don't Miss Parent Night Derby Party on May 6!

We will have live music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, specialty cocktails, raffle prizes, and of course the Barnival auction!  We would love to make the Barnival auction extra personal this year with contributions from Barnwell families that can strengthen our connections with one another.  Are you awesome at making pulled pork on the egg?  Would you be willing to give a tour of your workplace to an interested Barnwell student?  Do you have a talent you could share in a couple of private lessons?  If so, we would love to have items like that in our auction!  Please contact Sejdefa Hecimovic (dozics@gmail.com) or Lissa Webber (lissa.webber@gmail.com) with any ideas or questions!

Check out the Barnival website for more information: www.barnival.org.

WE NEED YOU!

Now is the time to get involved and PTO is the way to do it. Planning has begun for 2023-2024 and we have volunteer roles for any level of availability. We look forward to working with you! If you are interested in learning more, please reach out by emailing info@barnwellpto.org.

Agenda Cover Contest Ends This Week!

Each year the Barnwell PTO calls on student artists to decorate our agendas. This year's theme is "Days to Remember." Art submissions will run from now until April 12. 1st and 4th graders, be on the lookout for additional information to be sent home this week.

Volunteer Protocol Update:

Parent Volunteers

Volunteers are now allowed back in the building to volunteer in the classrooms as Mystery Readers and Copy Parents. As a reminder ALL volunteers must complete the Volunteer Protocol 48 hours prior to coming to school to volunteer. If you completed one previously, you MUST complete a NEW one this school year. Please click here to access the Volunteer Protocol. The last step after completing the protocol is bringing your driver’s license to school to be scanned. Please reach out to Susan Agerton at AgertonS@fultonschools.org to confirm that your protocol has been submitted and approved through the Fulton County School Safety and Security Department prior to volunteering.
