It’s time to grab your friendship bracelets, sparkly outfits and dancing shoes and join us for the Date with Your Daughter dance!

NEXT ALL PRO DADS BREAKFAST - MARCH 21

 

On Friday, March 21 at 6:45am, Barnwell dads and students are invited for breakfast in the cafeteria. Take a chance to connect with your student, their school, and discuss topics that help students to build character. (No child should feel left out - Moms or Guardians are welcome too)

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK - MARCH 24 - 28

 

 

The Barnwell PTO Staff Appreciation Week Committee is hitting the "road" to plan a spectacular week to celebrate our staff. At Barnwell, we never "tire" celebrating our staff, but we need your help to bring them many "miles of smiles." If you can "spare" a few dollars (any amount helps), please consider a donation to the staff appreciation week fund: Staff Appreciation Week Donation 2025

 

All monies collected will be used to provide meals, treats, and gift cards for each of our 100 staff members throughout the week. 

 

Please make your contributions by February 28 to allow ample time for the Staff Appreciation Week Committee headed by Rebecca Polli, Jackie Pearlman, and Neha Mehta to "map" out the week of festivities.

 STOCK THE STAFF LOUNGE

Help restock and refresh the Staff Lounge for the New Year! Items that are needed most:  K-cups, herbal teas, honey sticks, flavored creamers, sweeteners (Splenda/Stevia), snacks, and cups. Please refer to the Amazon wish list for some of their favorite items. As always, the staff is so grateful for any and all contributions!

The Barnwell community is amazing and we want to continue the tradition of having the biggest, loudest, craziest party ever at Barnival on May 9, 2025! We are looking for volunteers to lead various positions.

What is Barnival?

Our spring carnival, Barnival, is a beloved school event that invites current and former students and their families to our school for an evening of carnival fun. There are rides, games, food and treats, a chance to dunk your favorite teacher and the announcement of the kid raffle winners! The event always has a great turn out and is something families look forward to year after year! 

 

What does it mean to be on the Barnival committee?

It takes A LOT of hands to put on an event like Barnival and the more hands the lighter the load! There is something for every interest, ability and time commitment. Committee chairs meet on a regular basis leading up to the event (in person and virtually) to coordinate efforts and work together to solve any planning issues.

 Thanks to those that came out and made 410 sandwiches for The Sandwich Project. What an incredible way to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A special shout out to Ms. Benning and Ms. Agerton for helping, too!

EVENT RECAP: NOVEMBER 2024 FOOD DRIVE

 

 

Thanks to you, we collected 1,700 items as part of our Food Drive for North Fulton Community Charities! NFCC's Food Pantry serves more than 125 households each day. By using the food pantry, families struggling to make ends meet can significantly reduce their food expenses, freeing up money to use toward housing, utilities, gas and other bills.

We had a great night for Barnwell's annual Trunk or Treat and Movie Night. Thank you to all our volunteers who made this a huge success!
